SVFT-CTECS Distance Learning Agreement

Below please find the stipulated agreement between the SVFT and the district that covers distance learning during the COVID-19 pandemic.  If you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact your building rep or a union officer.

SEBAC Agreement and FAQ

Below, please find the details of the framework of an agreement between the state and the State Employee Bargaining Agent Coalition (SEBAC).  It is important to remember that state employees must vote to accept, and that the General Assembly must vote to approve it as well.  Ed, Paul, and Bob will be visiting schools to discuss.

Sick Bank Forms

The forms needed to enroll, apply, and withdraw from the SVFT Sick Bank can be found here.  You can also check to see if you are enrolled. The list has been updated to reflect all present SVFT Sick Bank members through November 1, 2018.

Tuition Reimbursement

PLEASE NOTE: FY2016 Tuition Reimbursement (CO-101) and Professional Development (CTs-43) funds have been depleted. All tuition reimbursement applications submitted for Summer and Fall 2016 coursework will be accepted and placed in order of receipt. With the current SVFT contract expiring on August 31, 2016 - FY2017 funds will not be allocated until a new SVFT contract is in place. FY2017 funds will be determined through negotiations.

Form CO 101-Tuition Reimbursement is used to reimburse college classes that earn credits. SVFT members receive tuition reimbursement for 9 college credits per fiscal year. The fiscal year for tuition reimbursement is June 1st through May 31st.
